I am a doctor specialising in neurology and interested in research into learning and memory processing  in the ageing human brain. My research has used a variety of techniques including behavioural testing, pharmacological manipulation, structural MRI including DTI and functional MRI. Understanding how we learn, remember, and forget and why this changes across the lifespan are at the heart of my fascination with neuroscience.

My PhD research was funded by the Wellcome Trust and awarded the British Neuroscience Association Postgraduate Award in 2013.
